How to increase your Alexa Ranking

We are starting a blog category on how to increase your Alexa ranking for your blog or website. This will be updated regularly as we find and test methods that will help webmasters to understand the importance of your Alexa ranking and how to maximize those customers and traffic. A few more pointers to help:

Use Alexa redirects on your website URL. Try this:

1) http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect?www.vontusuccess.com . Replace vontusuccess.com with the URL for your website. Leave this redirected URL in blog comments as well as forum signatures. This redirect will count a unique IP address once a day so clicking it multiple times won't help.

2) Get Dugg or stumbled as this will help drive massive amounts of traffic if your blog is picked up

3) Write a blog about how to increase your Alexa ranking as we have done here

4) Encourage others to review your site through Alexa Toolbar

5) Write articles such as this and have the links back to your blog or website

6) Join forums and place your site in the signature box so others will view your site
